I finally got around to changing the lock on the door and, with the help of my son-in-law, I was successful in installing the Lockey keyless lock...it is working very nicely. I�m looking forward to many years of easy-entry to my house! Thanks for all your help!!

This product was to test out the dropdown smartmatch display type (under option categories) for option categories 1 (accessories) and 2 (fabric). I configured it so that if a customer selects accessory Racing Stripes, they can only choose fabrics Cotton or Fishnet. If a customer selects accessory Self Destruct Button, then they can only choose fabrics Silk or Kevlar.

Under the actual options of Cotton, Fishnet, Silk, and Kevlar, I also filled in the Only Available With OptionIDs field and filled in the product option IDs for either Racing Stripes (option ID 1) or Self Destruct Button (Option ID 20).

For this product, down below, I also selected the Enable Options Inventory Control (this is a checkbox under the Product Options section). This generated all the various options combiations under the Inventory Control Grid. I deleted those options that I didn't want to be available (example, Racing Stripes with Silk). Then for the Inventory Grid Product code field, I tested out the combination of Racing Stripes/Cotton by filling in a different product code. I used test 4 cent. What this does is, when a customer selects the options Racing Stripes and Cotton, it triggers test 4 cent to be added to the shopping cart. Provided that the product test 4 cent is set up to generate a PO, then the order will still generate a PO.

One last important thing to note! Whenever you click the Save Changes button on the product page, the inventory control grid will reset itself. That is, any option combinations that you deleted because they're not available will suddnely re-appear in the grid, and then your options will no longer work correctly. The fastest way to fix this is click the "View All Child Products" link in the Inventory Control Grid and delete everything on this list. This should restore the options configuration back to the way it should be.
