The Lockey 2435 deadlocking spring latch lock has a hold back device which allows the lock to be in the unlocked position or you can also choose to have the door be locked every time it is closed. When in the locked position, you must either turn the lever handle on the inside or enter the combination on the outside. This makes it perfect for supply closets, or other doors that must be locked each and every time the door is closed. If you are replacing an existing lock, the Lockey 2435 can cover an existing 2-1/8" hole left by your old dead bolt lock. With the trimplate, it covers a 2-1/2" wide x 6-1/2" surface area. No need to worry about handing, the Lockey 2435 works on both right or left handed doors. It's also available in a wide range of colors. Please note, the Lockey 2435 is recommended for a single prepped door.
Mechanical keyless locks let you truly forget about needing a key to open your own door. Because you do not need a key to open the lock, they are great for businesses with a high employee turnover because you do not have to have a locksmith change your lock nor do you have to re-cut keys. With a mechanical push button lock, if you want to change the combination, you can do it yourself. They are also nice for interior doors in situations where you do not want a child to enter a certain room, or even a cabinet. Because mechanical push button door locks do not have any batteries, you never have to worry about needing a key to get into your house if the battery dies.
