This door shield is intended for people who may already have the Door Jamb Armor Base set and want to upgrade to have the full protection of a Door Jamb Armor Combo set.

NOTE: This door shield is an integral part of the Door Jamb Armor system and will not increase your door's security if used without a Base Door Jamb Armor set. You can also purchase a Door Jamb Armor Combo set which includes the Door Shield and Base Door Jamb Armor set. The Door Jamb Armor Combo set will give you the highest level of door reinforcement that Door Jamb Armor offers.

This piece has a durable powder coat painted finish which looks great on its own, or can be painted to match your door. If you are not sure of your lock spacing, you might want to look at the Universal Door Shield, which fits non-standard locks with spacing greater than 5-1/2".
