There is virtually no wiring involved, so all you need to really do is screw the housing to the post, insert the batteries, snap on the lid, and you are ready to go! If you have a 5"x5" post, you need to purchase one 5"x5" adapter for every 4" x 4" light cap you intend to use in your installation
