I finally got around to changing the lock on the door and, with the help of my son-in-law, I was successful in installing the Lockey keyless lock...it is working very nicely. I�m looking forward to many years of easy-entry to my house! Thanks for all your help!!

Never lose your keys again... The SmartScan is a biometric deadbolt door lock system designed for external or internal doors in residential or small commercial applications. When the sensor detects a valid fingerprint swipe, it activates the deadbolt assembly to unlock the door. Are you feeling doubtful because you saw the episode of the Discovery Channel's hit show, MythBusters, where they fooled the biometric lockset? This is a distinctly different technology of biometrics! We guarantee that this product will not be fooled by the techniques employed by MythBusters. What makes the SmartScan Biometric technology so much better? Unlike traditional optical sensors, our biometric products use AC Capacitive sensors to go deeper in order to authenticate. Old style optical sensors simply take a picture of your fingerprint while the SmartScan employs �Live Finger Technology� to also measure the actual thickness of your skin! This results in stronger security and is not susceptible to the shortcomings of optical sensors such as photocopies and molds.
