This Sliding Patio Door Handle is designed for replace the IR-422CST or the IR-C1131. If you don't need the complete set this will clean up the aging and UV effects on inside and outside handle assemblies on many Patio doors.

Patio Door Installation Instructions-Note Does Not Come with Mortise mechanism shown

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION.
Patio Hardware Installation Instructions:

1. Insert latch assembly into mortised slot in patio door, making sure theat the latch tongue engages in an
upward direction, as shown in the diagram above. Fasten into door using two #12 x 1.25� countersunk
screws.
2. Insert lock actuator into appropriate hole in door, as shown in diagram above. ( The lock actuator should
insert through the hole in the door and directly into a slot in the latch assembly. These two parts must
engage in order for the lockset to function properly).
3. Place inside and outside handle assemblies on door, with handgrips toward glass. Install the two
#10 x 24 x 1.75� machine screws through handles, as shown above, and tighten into place.
4. Frame strike to be installed into door jamb, at the appropriate height, and fastened in place with four
#8 x 2.5� screws enclosed. ( Please note: Frame strike and corresponding screws not pictured above).

WARNING: DO NOT USE POWER SCREW DRIVERS TO TIGHTEN THESE SCREWS. WARRANTY WILL
BE VOIDED IF OVERTIGHTENING, STRIPPED THREADS, OR BROKEN SCREWS RESULT FROM THE
USE OF POWER SCREW DRIVERS. OVERTORQUEING MAY ALSO RESULT IN DEFORMATION OF DOOR.
