This deadlatch provides you with the convenience of a touchpad lockset and the ultimate security of Preso-Matic. All Preso-Matic locks are guaranteed pick proof, jimmy proof, and bump proof (If you've never heard of lock bumping, please click here to read more). The Preso-Matic deadlatch lock features a 5/8" bolt projection that locks automatically when the door is closed. (If you need the capability to keep the door unlocked, just purchase the Stay Open Interior Plate accessory).

This deadlatch is entirely mechanical, so there's no electrical system to fail or batteries to replace. It also comes with a built in nightlatch feature that allows you to lock out anyone who knows the combination. All Preso-Matic locks are approved for use in residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial applications!

How's it work?

From the exterior: Latch retracts automatically when last digit of the combination sequence is pressed. Locks automatically when door is closed.
From the interior: Unlocks by pressing small button at bottom of interior plate. Locks automatically when door is closed.

Designed to be installed above a door pull, dummy knob, or passage set
For in or out swinging doors (latch bolt is reversible)
For 3" backset only
Designed to fit standard 1-3/4" thick door
For doors thicker than 1-3/4" (up to a maximum thickness of 2-1/4"), you will need to purchase an adapter kit
For doors thinner than 1-3/4" (down to a minimum thickness of 1-3/8"), you will need to purchase a spacer plate
Works on either right or left handed door
Available in 6 finishes
Completely bump proof and pick proof
Features a built-in night latch button (this button allows you to lock the unit so that even someone who knows the combination cannot get in)
Choose a 4 digit or 7 digit combination (slight upcharge for 7 digit combination option)
Combination will be chosen at random for you
Combination can be changed easily by purchasing a new 4 digit combination slide or a new 7 digit combination slide
Master combination slides are available
Features large buttons that are easy for children or elderly people with arthritis to use
Can be installed in a new door, or retro-fitted to replace your existing deadbolt
Flush mounted in the door, which means that it is very difficult to tamper with or break off the door, like other surface mounted locks
Weatherproof
