This Preso-Matic Keyless Deadbolt with 1" throw is a great security option for your home. All Preso-Matic products are guaranteed to be jimmy proof, pick proof, and completely bump proof. (If you've never heard of lock bumping, click here to read more). This touchpad deadbolt is totally mechanical, which means there's no electrical system to fail or batteries to replace. The hardened steel deadbolt is also self retracting. There are no knobs to turn or levers to twist, which means it's great for homes with children or people with arthritis. The built-in nightlatch button on the inside allows you to lock the unit at night, and even someone who knows the combination will not be able to enter.

How's it work?

From the exterior: Bolt retracts automatically when last digit of the combination sequence is pressed. Locks manually when the large button is pressed.
From the interior: Unlocks by pressing small button at bottom of interior plate. Locks by pressing the large button at the top of the interior plate.

Choose from a 4 digit or 7 digit combination option (slight upcharge applies for 7 digit combination option). A 4 digit combination means there are 10,000 different combination options that an unauthorized person would be faced with, if trying to open the lock by pushing buttons at random. For the best security, choose a 7 digit combination, which yields over 1 million different combination options!

For doors thicker than 1-3/4" (up to a maximum thickness of 2-1/4"), you will need to purchase an adapter kit
For doors thinner than 1-3/4" (down to a minimum thickness of 1-3/8"), you will need to purchase a spacer plate
Works on either right or left handed door
Available in 6 finishes
Self retracting deadbolt will unlock when correct combination is entered
