The Lockey 2230KA mechanical deadlocking springlatch lock is the keyed override version of our 2230. If you order multiple quantites of the Bright Brass or Satin Chrome, all of your locks will be keyed alike. If you are replacing an existing lock, you will be glad to know that this lock can cover an existing 2-1/8" hole left by your old lock. With the trimplate, it covers a 2-1/2" wide x 6-1/2" surface area. No need to worry about handing, the Lockey 2230KA deadlocking spring latch works on both right or left handed doors. It also has an adjustable backset and is available in a wide range of colors.

The Lockey 2230KA deadlocking spring latch lock will lock every time the door is closed. To open, you must either turn the thumbturn on the inside or enter the combination on the outside. This makes it perfect for supply closets, or other doors that must be locked each and every time the door is closed. If you are replacing an existing lock, you will be glad to know that this lock can cover an existing 2-1/8" hole left by your old lock. With the trimplate, it covers a 2-1/2" wide x 6-1/2" surface area. No need to worry about handing, the Lockey 2230KA works on both right or left handed doors. It also has an adjustable backset and is available in a wide range of colors.

This lock is recommended for a single prepped door ( a door with 1 lock hole).
