The Lockey 2500 patio door lock is perfect for frequently accessed sliding doors where you also want some security.  They are a great solution for vacation properties where you have guests coming & going,  but don't want them to have to carry keys.   To open, you must either turn the thumbturn on the inside or enter the combination on the outside.  With the trimplate, it covers a 2" wide x 6" surface area.  No need to worry about handing, the Lockey 2500 works on both right or left handed doors. 

This lock is recommended for a sliding door.

Mechanical keyless locks let you truly forget about needing a key to open your own door.  Because you do not need a key to open the lock, they are great for businesses with a high employee turnover because you do not have to have a locksmith change your lock nor do you have to re-cut keys.  With a mechanical push button lock, if you want to change the combination, you can do it yourself.  They are also nice for interior doors in situations where you do not want a child to enter a certain room, or even a cabinet. Because mechanical push button door locks do not have any batteries, you never have to worry about needing a key to get into your house if the battery dies.
